Bank on the go with Planters Bank Mobile Banking using your smartphone and tablet devices. Mobile Banking provides you with instant and secure access to personal account information on your internet-enabled device. Choose from three different ways to use Mobile Banking:

Smartphone & Tablet App

Use the Planters Bank Mobile Banking app to quickly access your Online Banking information. Enjoy the convenience of banking where and when you have internet access. Planters Bank’s mobile app is compatible with most smartphone and tablet devices.

To get started, simply download the Planters Bank app. 

  • View account balances
  • Transfer money between your Planters Bank accounts

Mobile Banking Enrollment

To utilize any of Planters Bank’s three avenues of Mobile Banking, you must first enroll in Online Banking. For more information, see Planters Bank Online Banking and Bill Pay.

  1. Login to Planters Bank Online Banking.
  2. Select the Options tab.
  3. Click the “Enroll Now” button under the Mobile Banking profile section.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions and select the accounts you would like to access with Mobile Banking, then press “Continue.”
  5. Enter your mobile phone number and press “Next.”
  6. Select which of the Mobile Banking services you would like to use (Mobile App, Text Banking, or Mobile Web Browser). You can use all three!
  7. A Mobile Banking activation code will be sent to your mobile phone. Enter the code onto the confirmation screen and press “Activate.”
  8. An activation confirmation will be sent to your mobile phone with further instructions on how to use the service(s) you selected.

iDeposit Mobile

Use your mobile device to quickly and easily deposit checks into your Planters Bank Checking Account. Save time by depositing checks whenever and wherever you want with a simple snap of your smartphone or tablet’s camera.

Before Using iDeposit Mobile:

  • Must have the Planters Bank Mobile Banking app
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a banking relationship with Planters Bank for at least 30 days
  • Be a Planters Bank Checking Account holder
  • Have a compatible mobile device
  • Maintain good standing with current Planters Bank accounts

Get Started with iDeposit Mobile:

  1. Request activation of iDeposit Mobile by:
    • Filling out a Planters Bank Online Contact Form and checking the box beside “iDeposit Enrollment”
    • Speaking with a Customer Service Representative at any Planters Bank location
  2. Once activated, follow these steps to make a deposit:
    • Login to Planters Bank Mobile Banking app
    • Press the Deposits tab
    • Select the account for the deposit
    • Enter the check amount
    • Endorse the back of the check with your signature and “For Mobile Deposit Only”
    • Flatten the check and place it on a solid, contrasting background
    • Center the check within the visual brackets and take photos of the front and back
    • Ensure all parts of the check are visible, in focus, and readable
    • Click “Use Photo” when finished
    • Verify the amount and click “Yes”


Text Banking

Use the Text Banking option to quickly verify account balances … or find a local Planters Bank office. Enroll in Text Banking and you will receive a list of short text commands. Combine one of the text commands with the account short name you specified at account setup to get specific account information. Message and data rates may apply. Text Banking works with any mobile device that supports SMS. Check with your wireless provider to ensure your device is supported.

TIP: When requesting your recent transactions, you can reply with “more” to the first text message to get the next group of recent transactions.

Text Banking Commands:

  • B / Bal / Balance / Balances – Balance in all Enrolled Accounts
  • B / Bal / Balance [Short Name] – Balance in Specified Account
  • STMT / TRAN / HIST [Short Name] – Recent Transactions for Specified Account
  • BRANCH [Zip Code] – Planters Bank Locations in a Specified ZIP Code
  • ATM [Zip Code] – Planters ATM Locations in a Specified ZIP Code
  • BOTH [Zip Code] – Both Planters Bank Locations & ATMs in a Specified ZIP Code
  • HELP – Shows list of available mobile commands
