SEED Grant

Planters Bank believes that small businesses are an integral part of our communities. SEED by Planters Bank is a small business program designed to support our small business customers.
The community exists to support, encourage and educate entrepreneurs and small business owners on a number of topics that are relevant for starting, running or expanding a business.
As a part of their endeavor to support small business, Planters Bank also created a SEED grant. The SEED grant will be awarded to a Planters Bank customer with an innovative business idea or an expansion plan for their current business.


On June 9, 2023 aspiring business owners are encouraged to submit their completed future business or expansion plans. On June 20, 2023, Planters Bank will host a pitch competition for the top business plans submitted. These competitors will be invited to pitch their business plan to a panel of judges for their chance to win a $10,000 start up grant + more for their business.
