On Tuesday, February 12, Planters Bank celebrated the success of Season of Giving for four Clarksville non-profit agencies.  Representatives from the Montgomery County Imagination Library, The Center for Family Development, The Montgomery County Angel Fund and Camp Rainbow accepted donations from the Planters Bank Season of Giving that ran from October through December of 2018.

During Season of Giving, Planters Bank works with local companies to private label items. After the bank purchases those items, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the items in each Planters Bank location go to the Season of Giving non-profit agency supported by that branch. This year, Planters Bank partnered with Clarksville-based Delectable Sweets to offer Mango Pineapple Habanero jam and Strawberry Jalapeño jam, and Kuttawa-based Broadbent’s for Hickory Smoked Country Bacon. 100% of the proceeds ($10/each) from the purchase of these items in each Planters Bank location was donated to the Season of Giving beneficiaries. Throughout the Season of Giving, supporters of each non-profit organization visited the Planters Bank Facebook & Twitter to help the organizations earn even more donations with likes & shares. All twelve Planters Bank locations throughout Tennessee and Western Kentucky supported a non-profit organization during the Season of Giving.

Season of Giving began as a fun way to bring attention to organizations Planters Bank supports in its communities, and has grown in to a program the bank and its employees look forward to each year.  Find out more and see additional photos and videos by visiting Planters Bank on Facebook and Instagram.
