Planters Bank announces the promotion of Eyvette Sellers to assistant vice president of treasury banking. Sellers joined Planters in November, 2007 as a new account administrator and moved to the treasury management department in 2009. She was promoted to treasury management banking officer in December, 2010.

Sellers is an active civic leader and currently serves on the following Board of Directors: Hopkinsville Christian County Conference and Convention Center Inc., Hopkinsville Christian County YMCA, Leadership Christian County Chamber of Commerce, Sanctuary, Inc., and is a Legislative Advocate on the Southern Pennyrile Chamber Alliance (SPCA). In addition, she served on the Board of Alpha Alternative Pregnancy Care Center (2008-2012) and has been involved in other organizations and committees such as the United Way of the Pennyrile, Partners in Education, and Hopkinsville-Christian County Leadership Alumni.

She has more than 27 years of banking experience. She relocated to Hopkinsville from Michigan City, Indiana, where she worked as senior trust administrator at Horizon Trust & Investment Management, NA.

Sellers attended Ball State (Muncie, IN) and Purdue (Westville, IN) Universities and the Cannon Trust School at University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN.) She is an active member of All Nations House of Prayer Church where she serves on the finance committee, is a youth abstinence teacher, and the music director for the children’s church ministry.

Headquartered in Hopkinsville, Planters Bank maintains eight offices in Hopkinsville and western Kentucky, along with four plus a mortgage office in Clarksville, Tenn.
